NWS: Newark, North Jersey Region Transitions to Slightly Warmer and Milder Weather

Residents in Newark and the North Jersey region can look forward to a milder Monday following a weekend characterized by biting winds and chilly conditions.AdThe area is transitioning into a more pleasant weather pattern, with today marking the beginning of a stretch of sunnier and slightly warmer days.

While the morning may still feel brisk, the discomfort of the cold is expected to ease, especially in the afternoon, as the sun makes a welcome appearance. 

The wind, a dominant feature over the weekend, will be notably less intense today, adding to the overall improvement in the weather.

According to The National Weather Service, the forecast for Washington's Birthday promises clear skies with a high near 39 degrees. Wind chill values will hover between 25 and 35 degrees, with a northwest wind around 6 to 9 mph.AdAs night falls, forecasters said the clear skies will continue, accompanied by a low of about 24 degrees and a gentle north wind.

As you step out, remember to dress warmly to combat the lingering chill. But take heart, as the week progresses, we're set to enjoy progressively better weather conditions!
