Residents in Newark and the North Jersey region are starting their Wednesday with mild temperatures and wet streets following overnight rain.As of 4:30 a.m., the skies are mostly cloudy, but the weather is dry as people head out for the day.
According to the National Weather Service, the region can expect a break from the rain, with partly sunny skies dominating the day.
Temperatures are set to reach a pleasant high of around 76 degrees. NWS forecasters said a calm wind in the early hours would shift, becoming an east breeze blowing at 5 to 7 mph by the morning.
This midweek respite offers residents an excellent opportunity to enjoy the outdoors after the recent showers.
Whether commuting to work or planning daytime activities, the weather will be cooperative, providing a perfect blend of mild air and comforting sunshine.
