The National Weather Service (NWS) promises a "really happy Friday" in Newark and the North Jersey Region with mild temperatures to end the workweek despite a chilly early morning start at 38 degrees at 4:30 a.m.
Today is set to be the highlight of the week with sunny skies and a high near 54 degrees, accompanied by a gentle west wind of 7 to 9 mph.
According to The National Weather Service, tonight, the clear conditions continue, setting the stage for a comfortable evening. The weekend maintains the pleasant trend, with Saturday staying in the 50s and the sun offering warmth.
The night's low will hover around 37 degrees with a calm west wind around seven mph, and the humidity at a moderate 64%.
However, the NWS advises to enjoy the mild weather while it lasts, as conditions will shift on Sunday, leading into a potentially stormy start to the Monday rush.
With a solid barometer reading of 30.42 inches, residents should make the most of the agreeable weather before gearing up for the upcoming change.
