Newark

A brisk autumn morning greeted my family and friends in Newark and the North Jersey region today as temperatures dipped into the upper 30s overnight, leaving behind a distinct fall-like chill in the air.

While the sun graced the skies, a mixture of clouds added character to the day.

Despite the chilly start, The National Weather Service said residents can expect a dry and mostly sunny day ahead.

The high is forecasted to reach around 66 degrees, offering a taste of the season.

A light southwest wind, gradually increasing to 5 to 10 mph, might occasionally gust as high as 21 mph.

With a humidity level of 87%, the atmosphere embraces a comforting fall feel.

Mother Nature seems to be gently ushering in the cooler temperatures, allowing us to savor the seasonal shift in full.

As the day unfolds, Newark and its surrounding areas can enjoy the refreshing autumn air, reminding us that fall has indeed arrived with its characteristic crispness and seasonal temperatures.
