Residents in Newark and the surrounding North Jersey region can anticipate a mixed bag of weather in the coming days.
The National Weather Service said today's weather will be a bit cooler than Wednesday, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 64.
The humidity levels are relatively high at 90%. There's a slight chance of showers in the afternoon, with a 20% chance of rain.
A northeast wind of 7 to 10 mph is expected.
However, the good news is that today will mostly stay dry, allowing residents to enjoy outdoor activities.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, NWS forecasters said it's advisable to keep an umbrella handy.
Rain is expected to move into the area, and in some regions, it could be heavy.
So, if you have outdoor plans, it might be a good idea to reschedule them or have a backup plan in case of inclement weather Friday.
On a brighter note, the weekend is shaping up to be dry and pleasant, providing a chance for residents to enjoy some outdoor fun.
