The Newark and North Jersey region is greeting the day at the freezing mark, but just like yesterday, the sun is back to brighten up our winter days.Today promises to be even more delightful, with temperatures expected to climb to a comfortable 45 degrees.
Early risers stepping out in Newark will face a chilly 31 degrees, but the day is set to develop into a splendid winter experience.
The week ahead looks promising, with mostly sunny skies and seasonable weather creating a pleasant stretch ahead.
The National Weather Service said today's forecast predicts sunny conditions with a high near 44 degrees.
While the wind chill may linger between 20 and 30 degrees in the morning, a calm wind turning north at 5 to 9 mph will make the day more enjoyable.
Tonight, the clear skies continue with a low of around 29 degrees and wind chill values between 20 and 25.
So, as you head out, don't forget your sunglasses – the beauty of winter sunshine is back with us, ready to be enjoyed in the Newark and North Jersey area.
