Officials said, Daniel and Catherine Bannister each made their initial appearance in Mercer County Superior Court this afternoon (via video conference).
Officials say both entered pleas of not guilty to their individual charges.

Detention motions will be heard in both cases at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23, in pending any adjournments.
Detention hearings are held at the Mercer County Criminal Courthouse, 400 South Warren Street, Trenton.
The judge presiding over the case has not been released at this time.
