After being stuck in a gloomy weather pattern, today brings not a completely dry start but promises some relief from the recent dreariness.According to the National Weather Service, the day starts in the high 60s, although some showers are expected in North Jersey, particularly in Upper Passaic County.
Today's forecast includes a 20 percent chance of showers after 2 p.m., with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 71 degrees. A
calm wind will shift to the northeast at 5 to 7 mph in the morning.
For tonight, NWS forecasters said there is a 20 percent chance of showers before 2 a.m.
The skies will remain mostly cloudy, with temperatures dropping to around 57 degrees.NWS meteorologists emphasize that while there is a slight chance of rain, the weekend is not a complete washout.
