Police are continuing to investigate a car crash that caused injuries on the Garden State Parkway in Old Bridge overnight.
The crash happened just before 2:15 p.m. in the northbound outer lanes near mile marker 121.5 where emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a crashed car with an injured victim at that location.
EMS transported the victim to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center suffering a severe laceration to the head according to reports.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
