Police are looking for a vehicle that struck two children in the city then reportedly left the scene.
The incident happened after 6:30 p.m in the 1000 block of Broad Street where police were called to the scene for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle according to initial reports.
Arriving emergency responders located two children suffering injuries after being struck by a vehicle.
The children were transported to University Hospital and are expected to survive.
A two-door red vehicle left the scene heading towards Clinton Avenue.
UPDATE 9:02 p.m. This was a female around the age of 7-year-old that was struck by the vehicle while walking with her mom and one other child. The other child did not suffer injuries.
