Officials in Passaic County are investigating the cause of a fire that caused minor injuries in Haledon Wednesday morning.
Heavy fire ripped through a home located at 80 John Ryle Avenue around 4:10 a.m. sending firefighters to the scene to investigate,
When crews arrived, they found the front of a two-and-a-half-story house engulfed in flames.
Firefighters stretched four lines then poured water on stubborn flames that began to tear through the structure's roof.
A female received medical assistance for smoke inhalation, but there were no other injuries reported.
The fire was placed under control in under an hour, with the cause under investigation.
