Two vehicles were destroyed after the cars collided on a busy road in Newark early Saturday morning.
According to police, the crash happened at the intersection of Gouverneur Street and McCarter before 9:10 a.m. where emergency responders rushed to the scene.
Police, EMS and firefighters arrived to find two severely damaged vehicles with the occupants safely out of the cars.
Both cars were undrivable and towed from the crash scene.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
