An officer and a civilian suffered non-life threatening injuries in a Friday night crash in Newrak's Central Ward.
The two-vehicle collision involved an NJIT cruiser and a civilian vehicle near the intersection of Lock and Sussex Avenue around 9 p.m.
The pair were taken to University Hospital for evaluation after the collision that occurred on the campus.
The cause of the crash has not been determined.
