NJ Transit Investigates Rear-End Collision That Injured Several in Jersey City

NJ Transit officials are investigating a bus crash that left multiple people injured on Friday afternoon. 

According to NJ Transit, the incident occurred at approximately 1:19 p.m. when a bus on the No. 9 line, heading toward Bayonne, was rear-ended by another vehicle while stopped for traffic at the intersection of Bergen Avenue and Montgomery Street in Jersey City.AdOfficials reported that of the 16 passengers on the bus, six customers and the bus operator sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Local police responded to the scene and are leading the investigation into the cause of the crash.
