NJ TRANSIT has announced a temporary ban on all beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, aboard its trains, buses, and light rail vehicles during SantaCon events.
The ban will be in effect on Saturday, December 9th, coinciding with SantaCon in New York City, and on Saturday, December 16th, coinciding with the event in Hoboken.
For the specified days, passengers are not allowed to carry any beverages in any type of container, whether open or closed, while on NJ TRANSIT vehicles.
This policy will be strictly enforced to ensure safety and compliance.
It's important to note that this ban extends to all NJ TRANSIT buses at all times, regardless of any ongoing events.
NJ TRANSIT encourages passengers to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities, packages, or vehicles during their travels.
