NJ Suspect Arrested in Connection to Multiple 7-Eleven Robberies

Evesham Police have identified and charged a suspect in connection to a series of robberies and an attempted robbery at two local 7-Eleven stores. The incidents occurred on July 31 and August 13, 2024.AdOn July 31, police responded to a robbery report at the 7-Eleven located at 2 East Main Street, but the suspect had already fled the scene when officers arrived.

Shortly after, officers were dispatched to another 7-Eleven at 300 Greentree Road for a similar robbery that had just occurred.

Police officials said in both cases, the suspect threatened force and made off with cash before police could apprehend him.

After reviewing surveillance footage, investigators confirmed that the same individual was responsible for both incidents.

On August 13, police were called again to the 7-Eleven on East Main Street after a man attempted another robbery.

However, this time the suspect fled before any money was handed over.

Surveillance footage confirmed that the suspect was the same individual involved in the July 31 robberies.

After an extensive investigation by the Evesham Police Investigative Bureau, authorities identified Bobbyjean Orak, a 29-year-old from Hamilton as the suspect.

Orak has been charged with robbery, theft, and attempted robbery. He is currently incarcerated in Camden County Jail on unrelated charges. Once his sentence there is completed, he will be transferred to Burlington County Jail to await a detention hearing at Burlington County Superior Court.AdThe investigation is still ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information related to the crimes to contact the Evesham Police Department at 856-983-1116.
