The New Jersey State Police and Middle Township Police Department have recovered multiple items as a result of a burglary and theft investigation in Middle Township, Cape May County and are seeking to return the remaining recovered items to their owners.
Detectives believe the burglaries occurred on October 8th and targeted vessels docked at the Canyon Club Marina, Harborview Marina and Mill Creek Marina in Lower Township.
As a result of the investigation, investigators recovered emergency signal flares, global positioning systems (GPS), a VHF radio and cigars.
During this time of the year, vessels are waiting to be pulled from their slips for winterization and owners may not have checked their their emergency flares or emergency supplies prior to marina personnel pulling the vessel, which means that victims may not be aware they are missing these supplies.
Officials have provided photos of the items that have not been claimed.
