NJ Sells One $1M, Two $50K Winning Lottery Tickets

There was one New Jersey Lottery ticket sold that matched the 5 white balls to win the $1,000,000 second-prize for the Saturday, June 18 drawing.

If that ticket had been purchased with Powerplay it would have doubled the prize to $2,000,000.

The winning ticket was purchased in Bergen County at Garden State News, 216 Old Tappan Rd., Old Tappan.

In addition, two New Jersey Lottery tickets were sold that matched the 4 white balls and the Powerball drawn, winning the third-prize of $50,000. If those tickets had been purchased with Powerplay they would have been worth $100,000 each.

The winning tickets were sold in:

Gloucester County: Kennedy News Agency, 28 East High St., Glassboro, and Middlesex County: Wawa #8330, 960 Route 33, Monroe.

Moreover, 29,851 New Jersey players took home an estimated $147,513 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200, according to Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger.

“Congratulations to the fortunate lottery players whose tickets were big prizewinners,” said Hedinger. “These lucky players now join the growing ranks of New Jersey Powerball winners.”

The winning numbers for the Saturday, June 18 drawing were: 02, 23, 41, 53 and 63. The Red Power Ball number was 11. The Multiplier number was 02. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $184,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Wednesday, June 22 at 10:59 pm.
