NJ Fugitive Charged With Desecration of Human Remains UPDATE: Captured

Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that Jared Krysiak, 34, of Brick Township, has been charged with Hindering Apprehension and Desecration of Human Remains.Back2SchoolOfficials said these charges are connected to a series of events that occurred in Toms River and Jackson Townships on or about July 3, 2024. 

The information concerning this investigation was released to the public earlier today.

Krysiak has not yet been taken into custody and is considered a fugitive from justice.

A warrant for his arrest has been issued, and his name has been entered into the National Crime Information Center database.
