Authorities have released the identity of the Bergen County architect that fell to his death yesterday from a 45-story Midtown Manhattan high-rise.
According to police, officers responded to the office building, located on 6th Avenue between West 52nd and West 53rd streets, shortly after 2 p.m. after Bruno Travalja, 52, of Ridgewood, fell to his death.
Travalja, who according to his Facebook page is the owner of Crown Architectural Systems in Hackensack, appears to have become light-headed when he reportedly knelt down to take a measurement.
The incident is currently under investigation by the New York City Police and the New York City Department of Buildings.
