Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating Janavia Marable, 25, of Newark, who is wanted for an aggravated assault that occurred on Jan. 30th.
According to police, at approximately 12:30 p.m., police responded to the area of Clinton and Hillside avenues on a call of an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Upon arrival, officers learned a woman was struck with a bat by another woman.
Detectives developed sufficient evidence to secure a warrant for the arrest of Janavia Marable on charges of Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and Criminal Mischief.
While police are actively searching for Marable, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing her from our streets.
