Police officials in Newark announced that the suspension of enforcement of certain parking violations is extended until Friday, May 15, 2020.
Officials say, enforcement of parking violations that pose public safety hazards, such as the blocking of fire hydrants or parking in crosswalks, will remain in effect.
Street cleaning will also be suspended to Thursday, April 30, 2020.
Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about any suspicious or criminal activities to call the Newark Police Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877- 695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
