Police in Newark are investigating a stabbing incident that happened Saturday afternoon around 3:35 p.m.
The unidentified person was found in the 30's block of Green Street in Newark's Downtown District.
Emergency responders took the victim to University Hospital for treatment and the extent of their injuries has only been reported as non-fatal.
One person was taken into custody, but the circumstances behind the stabbing are under an active investigation.
No other injuries were reported.
