Newark Police seek the public’s help in identifying three male suspects who are connected with a mini-market robbery that occurred last night (Tuesday).
According to police, at approximately 9:35 p.m., officers responded to Robert Mini-Market, located at 336 Hawthorne Avenue, on a robbery call.
Authorities said two black males, armed with handguns, entered the store and took money from the cash register.
Both suspects are described as approximately 6-feet tall. The first was wearing army fatigue pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, a black jacket with white lettering and black and red sneakers.
The second suspect wore all black hooded sweatshirt, black leather jacket and black sneakers.
While police are actively searching for these suspects, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing them from city streets.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
