Newark Police are investigating an armed robbery of a gas station that occurred Monday afternoon in the city's South Ward.
In the second armed robbery of the Delta gas station that's located in the 100 block of Chancellor Avenue, authorities said at around 4:30 p.m., two black male suspects wearing bandanas on their faces arrived at the establishment armed with a gun and demanded cash from employees.
The men took less than $150 before running from the scene.
On Tuesday, May 25th, shortly before 9:30 p.m. two masked individuals robbed the station at gunpoint taking an unspecified amount of cash.
Police are trying to determine if the suspects committed both robberies.
There were no serious injuries reported.
Police are investigating.
