Police in Newark are investigating a carjacking that occurred Wednesday afternoon in the city's South Ward.
Officers were called to the intersection of Schuyler and Renner avenues for a report of a carjacking shortly before 2 p.m.
Upon their arrival, officers met with the female victim who told them that two black males took her 2012 Nissan Altima at gunpoint.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number "KKB-1549".
The incident remains under investigation. There were no injuries reported.
