A man wanted for a shooting that left a man with life threatening injuries in early February is still on the loose according to authorities.
Police are on the search for 32-year old Rasheed Simmons who is wanted for a violent shooting that happened in the 200 block of Osborne Terrace in the city's South Ward police said. The victim was found by emergency responders a shot distance away on Huntington Terrace.

The motive behind the shooting has not been released but authorities believe that some type of verbal altercation led up to Simmons allegedly producing a weapon and firing several times at the victim, striking him multiples times before leaving the scene police said.
A warrant has been issued for Simmons arrest and bail has been set at $100,000.
