Police in Newark have been notified of a teenage girl who left her home and hasn't been seen since Thursday.
According to family members, the girl's name is Khaliah (pronounced Kha-Lee-uh) Meekens and she is 13-years-old.
Family members said Khaliah was last seen on Thursday at JFK Recreation Center located in the 200 block of West Kinney Street.
She was last seen wearing a yellow hoodie with gray sweats pants. Khaliah had on black and gray UGG boots and is 5'4" weighing about 130-140 pounds according to family members.
Khaliah's hair is in box braids that are colored black and burgundy.
