Authorities in Newark request the public’s help identifying the suspects who stole a victim’s purse on August 10.
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said the theft incident occurred at approximately 2 p.m. at the Ferry Street Barbecue, where the victim left her purse on the table after dining outside.
The suspects were captured on surveillance video taking the victim’s purse containing her personal belongings, including $150 and credit cards, officials stated.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the suspects’ identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
