Authorities in Newark request the public’s help identifying a suspect who exited the vehicle and robbed a victim at gunpoint on August 11.

Officials said he exited the vehicle carrying a weapon, then walked onto the porch, where he punched the victim in the face and snatched her purse containing $200 and bank cards.

According to officials, the suspect, a 5’9” Black male with a medium build, fled in the vehicle northbound on Houston Street toward New York Avenue.
