Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in identifying the male suspect concerning a package theft that occurred on Saturday, December 28, 2024.
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. stated that at approximately 9:11 a.m., a victim’s two delivered packages were stolen from the front door of a residence at Lenox Street near Sanford Avenue.
One package contained a car part, and the other contained clothing, Newark Police said.
According to Newark officials, the suspect arrived at the residence on a bicycle and pretended to ring the doorbell before removing the packages and fleeing.
