Newark officials requests the public’s help locating a vehicle wanted in connection with a home invasion that occurred today, Saturday, January 14.
According to officials, at approximately 5 a.m., the suspect vehicle, described as a white Land Rover with a black top, was parked in the 300 block of Lyons Avenue.
Authorities say one male suspect exited the vehicle while another remained inside.
The male who exited possibly forced his way into a residence before entering two separate apartments, officials said.
Upon becoming aware of the presence of a resident inside one of the rooms, the suspect fled, authorities say, returning to the Land Rover and heading southbound on Leslie Street.
