Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose is requesting the public’s help with identifying the pictured suspects in connection with the burglary of an automobile on January 16.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a theft from an automobile that took place around 11:30 a.m. on Monroe Street. The suspects were captured on surveillance video smashing the window of a 2017 Hyundai and taking the victim’s cellphone.
While police are actively searching for these suspects, Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about them to call the Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
