Newark Police officials request the public's help identifying a suspect captured on surveillance video stealing a gray mountain bike on November 22.
According to police, in a theft report filed with the 3rd Precinct, the victim told police that at approximately 3:40 a.m., an unknown male took the bike from the backyard of a home on Van Buren Street.
While detectives investigate this incident, they seek the public's help with identifying the suspect.
Police officials urge anyone with information to call the Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
