There is an active search for suspects wanted for several armed robberies that occurred in the city overnight.
According to preliminary reports, the first incident happened at the Delta Gas Station located on Bloomfield Avenue and North 10th Street.
Two black male suspects reportedly pulled up in a dark-colored vehicle armed with a gun and demanded cash from an attendant at around 7:15 p.m.
The suspect took an undetermined amount of cash before they sped away from the scene.
A short time later, two students who were walking on the campus of NJIT contacted police after two male suspects exited a vehicle near the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Central Avenue armed with a gun at around 8:25 p.m.
According to the victim, the suspects wore masks when they unsuccessfully attempted the robbery.
The suspects were occupying a dark-colored vehicle with a reported NJ license plate number "A74-FYS" when they sped from the scene eastbound on Central Avenue towards Broad Street.
In another robbery incident, suspects occupying a vehicle with the same license plates as the Central Avenue incident approached a victim in the area of Abington Avenue East and Ridge Street at around 8:50 p.m.
The suspects reportedly pulled a gun on the victim then took personal possessions before fleeing the scene.
There were no physical injuries in any of the incidents.
The suspects remain at-large.
