Newark Police requests the public's assistance in identifying the suspect in connection with a theft that occurred in the 500 block of 13th Avenue on Wednesday, March 23.
According to police, officers responded to a call of a theft from auto that occurred between 7 a.m. and 1:40 p.m.
Police said that the victim reported that four credit cards were missing from a vehicle they had parked in the area.
Three transactions were made using the victim's credit card before the cards were canceled.
Detectives investigating this incident seek the public's assistance in quickly identifying the suspect as part of their investigation.
According to police, he is described as a Black male with a light complexion, wearing a hooded sweatshirt with orange strings and orange stripes down both arms.
He also wore Adidas track pants, brown construction boots, and a black face mask.

All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
