Newark Police Search for Plainfield Woman for Allegedly Selling Drugs in Newark

UPDATE: Suspect turned herself in to police.

Police in Newark seeks the public’s help in locating Amina Dickens, 29, of Plainfield, who they say is wanted for possession of 850 decks (17 bricks) of heroin.

Members of the Intelligence Section executed a search warrant of a vehicle which police towed as part of an on-going investigation from last week.

The search warrant resulted in the recovery of 17 bricks of heroin.

Detectives secured a warrant for the arrest of the vehicle’s owner, Dickens, on charges of possession of CDS, possession with the intent to distribute, possession within 1,000 feet of a school and possession within 500 feet of public housing.

This investigation is continuing.
