Newark Police officials request the public's help in identifying a suspect in connection with a business burglary that occurred on Monday, August 1.
According to police, officers responded to Ecuacolombia Restaurant, 348 Bloomfield Avenue, on a call of a burglary.
Police officials said that at approximately 10:45 p.m., a male suspect entered the restaurant through a side alleyway entrance and stole the cash register containing $300.00.
The suspect fled, heading westbound on Bloomfield Avenue toward North 5th Street.
Detectives investigating this incident request the public's help quickly identifying this suspect as part of their investigation.
He was captured on a surveillance camera before entering the business.
