Newark's Finest teamed up with the members of the fine community outreach services of The International Youth Organization -IYO-for a block cleanup on Thursday in the city's West Ward.
According to officials, School Resource Officer Robert Moore, hosted the Neighborhood Cleanup at 15th Avenue and South 18th Street with Community Service Officer B. Burrows and participants from the International Youth Organization located at 703 South 12th Street.
Crime fighters along with members of IYO rolled up their sleeves to spruce up the neighborhoods while Newark Police officials spoke to residents in the area on how they could assist Newark Police in ridding their neighborhoods of crime and garbage.
