A theft of a vehicle that occurred overnight in Newark's South Ward is under investigation.
The vehicle taken is a silver 2003 Toyota Corolla with a reported NJ license plate number 'U47-HNS".
Police were called to the 300 block of Hillside Avenue at approximately 12:30 a.m. to take a report regarding the incident.
It is not immediately clear if the suspect took the car via strong arm at this time.
