Newark Police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred early Saturday morning at the Bradley Court Housing Development in the city’s West Ward.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired at the complex, located on Munn Avenue near Vailsburg Park.
Upon arrival, police discovered shell casings at the scene and a vehicle that had been damaged by gunfire.
However, no one was found inside the car, and a thorough search of the area around the shooting scene and the housing complex yielded no victims.
No injuries have been reported, and no arrests have been made at this time.
The motive for the shooting remains undetermined as the investigation continues.
