Newark Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Tuesday morning in the city’s Central Ward.
The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Upon arrival, officers found a male victim suffering from a severe stab wound.
He was transported to University Hospital by EMS under police supervision and is currently listed in stable condition.
The motive for the stabbing remains unclear, and authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack.
No additional details have been released at this time.
