Newark's Public Safety Director, Fritz Fragé, delivered a somber update today, revealing that at approximately 6:18 p.m., the Newark Police Department responded to a distressing call at an apartment situated in the 900 block of Franklin Avenue.
According to Director Frage, the call reported two unresponsive adult males within the premises, marking the beginning of an investigation.
Tragically, despite the swift response of law enforcement officers and emergency personnel, both victims were pronounced deceased at 6:44 p.m. Director Frage said.
