Officials announced the arrest of Adalberto Panezo, 37, of Newark, Eter L. Vital, 28 and Lenny Campoverde, 35, both of Kearny, for an incident of illegal dumping today.
In a statement released by authorities, at approximately 12:40 p.m., members of the Illegal Dumping Task Force observed the suspects remove a large tub, household carpeting, and several black bags from their vehicle then toss them to the curb near McCarter Highway and Verona Avenue.
Police immediately arrested trio then charge them with illegal dumping and illegal transport of solid waste.
Police say their vehicle was subsequently towed and could be forfeited.
The Illegal Dumping Task Force has made over 33 arrests thus far this year.
These charges are merely accusations. Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
