Police reported no physical injuries in an armed carjacking in Newark North Ward Wednesday night.
It happened around 9:40 p.m in the 70's block of Woodside Avenue.
Officers were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of a carjacking in progress.
Upon arrival, police began searching for a gray 2012 Toyota Camry with NY license plate numbers "KTZ-1040"
According to the investigation, two black males approached the driver armed with a gun and demanded the vehicle. The assailants sped away from the scene immediately after the incident.
They remain at large.
