Newark, North Jersey Welcomes Sunny Skies After Heavy Rains

The Newark and North Jersey region is experiencing a welcome change in weather, drying out after a bout of heavy rainfall.

Residents are waking up to a mild morning, with the current temperature at 46 degrees. The intense moisture that began at 2:30 p.m. Sunday is now moving away from the area.

Today, The National Weather Service said the weather is set to be mostly sunny with a high near 53 degrees. The region will experience a west wind blowing at 9 to 15 mph, accompanied by gusts that could reach as high as 29 mph.

This shift brings a refreshing change after the recent heavy rains.

Tonight's forecast predicts mostly clear skies with a low of around 30 degrees. Wind chill values are expected to be between 25 and 30 degrees.

The west wind will continue at 11 to 14 mph, with gusts potentially reaching up to 24 mph.

Currently, the humidity stands at 89%, with a southwest wind speed of 15 mph. The barometer reads 29.68 inches, indicating a stable weather pattern.

Residents can look forward to a pleasant day with clear skies and mild temperatures.
