Meteorologist at the National Weather Service (NWS) said Newark and the surrounding North Jersey region can expect a pleasant day ahead, with sunny skies and a high temperature reaching close to 77 degrees.
The weather conditions are set to improve from yesterday, and residents can look forward to a more relaxing day overall.
As we start the day, NWS forecast said the humidity stands at 72%. This will ensure a slightly muggy atmosphere. However, a calm wind from the northeast at 6 mph will help alleviate the discomfort.
Later in the afternoon, the wind will shift, becoming southbound at 5 to 9 mph, bringing a gentle breeze to the area.
As NWS meteorologists look at the barometer reading of 30.16, we can anticipate stable atmospheric pressure.
This indicates a favorable weather pattern, promoting sunny skies throughout the day.
NWS forecasters said residents should be aware that there is a chance of showers later in the day, mainly after 4 p.m. It's advisable to keep an umbrella handy or plan activities accordingly.
