The weather forecast for today brings good news for those seeking a break from the recent humidity.
National Weather Service meteorologist said as we step into the day, the sun shines brightly, promising a mostly sunny day with a high temperature near 88 degrees.
The weather conditions are expected to be dry, with no signs of rain, making it a perfect opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities.
Currently, the humidity stands at 90%, but fear not, as the North wind blowing at around five mph is expected to shift to the southeast in the afternoon.
NWS meteorologist said this shift in wind direction will help to reduce the humidity levels, providing some relief from the mugginess we've experienced recently.
With a barometer reading of 29.99 inches, weather conditions are stable, and no significant atmospheric disturbances are expected.
However, it's worth noting that a change in weather is on the horizon. As we approach Friday, NWS forecasters said the weather calls for heavy rain to return to our region.
