Newark Man Suffering Gunshot Wound Arrives at Passaic Hospital; Investigation Underway

Authorities are investigating a shooting that left a Newark man injured early Friday morning.AdAccording to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, a 24-year-old Newark resident arrived at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic around 7:48 a.m., seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The location of the shooting is still under investigation, and officials have not yet disclosed any information about a possible motive.

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office and Passaic Police Department are actively working on the case and urge anyone with information to come forward.
