Police in the Essex County town of Bloomfield are looking for an alleged thief who they said burglarized a building and stole packages last week.
According to a statement released by Bloomfield Police, officers responded to 165 Franklin Street on a report of numerous packages that were stolen from the lobby.
Bloomfield Police said the building's superintendent was unaware of how many packages were taken but saw an unidentified man leave with numerous packages.
Detective Bureau investigated the incident and obtained video surveillance of the suspect.
Bloomfield Police said after an investigation and viewing the surveillance video; they identified the suspect as Mr. Isaiah Nugent, 24, of Newark.
A warrant has been issued for Nugent's arrest. If you know where he is, please contact The Bloomfield Police Department.
He is believed to committed multiple package thefts in the region.
